MileLedger 1.0 requires no MileLedger account and sends no mileage entries, attachments, profile information, or usage analytics to the Developer. Your app content is stored locally on your device.
1. Overview
MileLedger is an independent app for iPhone and iPad developed by the Developer. It helps users organize expected, delayed, claimed, and credited loyalty miles or points.
This policy explains what the app stores on your device, which Apple system services it uses, what may be processed when you visit this website or contact support, and the choices available to you.

2. Information handled by the app
Information you choose to save
MileLedger lets you save an optional display name and current mileage balance, as well as entries containing partner names, categories, booking and service dates, expected or credited miles, status, reference or order details, claim dates, notes, and related information.
You may also attach images or PDF files such as receipts, screenshots, invoices, and confirmations. Because you control this content, avoid adding passwords, payment-card details, or unrelated sensitive information.
Templates, settings, and exports
Partner templates, custom templates, reminder settings, language preferences, and other app settings are stored on the device. If you choose to export a CSV file, the system share interface lets you decide where the file is sent or saved.
Notifications
With your permission, MileLedger schedules local notifications for reminders. Notification content is created and scheduled on the device. You can disable reminders in MileLedger or revoke notification permission in your device settings.
No collection by the Developer
Version 1.0 does not transmit your MileLedger profile, entries, notes, attachments, templates, search activity, or app usage to the Developer. On-device processing is not used for cross-app tracking or advertising.
3. How on-device information is used
The information you enter is processed locally to:
- organize mileage-related entries and supporting proof;
- calculate expected-credit, review, claim, deadline, and follow-up dates;
- show statuses, balances, timelines, summaries, and statistics;
- prepare claim checklists and message drafts;
- schedule reminders you enable; and
- create a CSV export when you request one.
MileLedger does not use your app content for advertising, profiling, data brokerage, or automated access to loyalty accounts.
4. Storage, retention, and deletion
Local storage
App records are stored in MileLedger's local SwiftData store. Imported images and PDFs are copied into the app's local document storage. CloudKit synchronization is disabled in version 1.0.
How long information remains
On-device information remains until you edit or delete it, or remove MileLedger from your device. Deleting an entry removes its associated records, and app controls allow supporting files to be removed. Apple device backups may retain a copy according to your backup settings and Apple's retention practices.
Security and access
App content is kept within MileLedger's app container and benefits from the security protections of your device and operating system. Protect your device with an appropriate passcode and keep iOS or iPadOS up to date. No electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
5. Apple services, website hosting, and support
Apple StoreKit
MileLedger uses StoreKit to retrieve the optional MileLedger Pro product, start a purchase, verify the signed transaction, restore purchases, and determine whether the lifetime Pro entitlement is active. Apple processes payment and Apple Account information under Apple's Privacy Policy. MileLedger does not receive your payment-card details.
External program links
Some claim guidance may open an official loyalty-program webpage in your browser. Visiting an external site is your choice and is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy. MileLedger does not automatically submit entry data to those sites.
This website
mileledger.app is a static website and its own code uses no cookies, advertising pixels, analytics tools, accounts, or contact forms. The hosting provider may process standard connection information such as an IP address, requested URL, timestamp, and browser information to deliver and secure the website.
Email support
If you contact support, the email address, message, and files you voluntarily send are processed to answer your request and troubleshoot the issue. Do not include loyalty-account passwords or payment details. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, legal obligations, and protection against abuse.
6. Your choices and rights
- You decide which optional details and attachments to add.
- You can edit or delete entries and files using the app's controls.
- You can disable reminders in the app or notifications in your device settings.
- You can remove locally stored app data by deleting it in the app or uninstalling MileLedger, subject to your device-backup settings.
- You can ask for access to or deletion of support correspondence by emailing the address below.
Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply to information processed through support or website operations, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection.
Children's privacy
MileLedger is a general productivity app and is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not provide social features, advertising, or developer-operated user accounts.
7. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when MileLedger's features or service providers change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here and, when appropriate, in the app.
